Terms and conditions
These terms govern the use of Zablas, the marketplace run by [to be completed] ([to be completed], VAT [to be completed]). By using the site, buying or selling you accept these terms.

1. What Zablas is
Zablas is an online platform that connects buyers with independent professional sellers. Products are sold by the individual sellers, not by Zablas: the sales contract is made directly between you and the seller shown on the product page, whose company name, VAT number, address and contacts we display.
Zablas runs the platform, collects payments on the sellers' behalf, holds them to protect buyers and steps in on disputes as described below.
2. Accounts
You need an account to buy or sell. You must be at least 18, give true information and keep your password safe. If you think someone is using your account without permission, write to [to be completed].
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, and we'll tell you why.
3. Orders, prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT where due. Shipping costs are shown before you confirm. If your cart has products from several sellers, each one receives a separate order.
The contract with the seller is made when the payment succeeds. Orders not paid within the time shown are cancelled and the products become available again.
You pay Zablas, which collects on the seller's behalf. We don't store card details: payments are handled by an authorised payment service provider.
4. Buyer protection
Your money doesn't go to the seller straight away: we hold it until 7 days after delivery. During that time you can report a problem from the order page: parcel not received, item broken, wrong or not as described, suspected fraud.
An order counts as delivered only when the carrier's tracking says so, when you confirm it or when we check it. If the carrier says it was delivered but you didn't get the parcel, you can contest the delivery.
While a report is open, the payment to the seller stays blocked. We review the evidence from both sides and decide whether and how much to refund you. This protection adds to your legal rights and doesn't limit them.
5. Shipping
Each seller ships their own products at the rates and times shown. When the parcel leaves you get the tracking number and can follow it from the order page.
6. Right of withdrawal and returns
If you're a consumer you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason (art. 52 and following of the Italian Consumer Code, Directive 2011/83/EU). Do it from the order page with "Request a return" or with a clear statement to the seller.
You must send the product back within 14 days of telling us. Return shipping is paid by you, unless the seller offers free returns: the product page says so.
The refund covers the price and standard delivery costs and arrives within 14 days of the withdrawal; the seller can wait until they receive the product or proof that you shipped it. Withdrawal doesn't apply in the cases set by law, for example custom-made or perishable products, or sealed products unsealed after delivery for health reasons.
7. Legal guarantee
The seller is liable for any lack of conformity that shows up within two years of delivery (art. 128 and following of the Italian Consumer Code). You can ask for repair or replacement and, where provided, a price reduction or termination of the contract. Contact the seller from the order page; if they don't reply, we'll help.
8. Reviews and questions
You can review a product only after receiving it. Reviews and questions must be true, relevant and respectful; paid reviews and reviews written by the seller aren't allowed. We can hide content that breaks these rules.
We publish all verified reviews, positive and negative; the average rating is calculated on the visible ones.
9. Reporting illegal content
Anyone can report an illegal, counterfeit, unsafe or misleading product through the "Report this product" link on every product page (art. 16 of the Digital Services Act, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).
We review every notice diligently and objectively. If we remove a product we tell the seller why, and we let the person who reported it know the outcome. Anyone who disagrees with a decision can challenge it by writing to [to be completed] within 6 months: we'll review it again.
After a warning we can suspend whoever frequently publishes manifestly illegal content or frequently sends manifestly unfounded notices.
10. Terms for sellers
Only professionals (companies, sole traders and freelancers) who pass our verification sell on Zablas. When applying, the seller provides their company name, VAT number, address, contacts, payout account and an ID document; the business details are shown to buyers.
The seller is responsible for the products and their legal compliance, descriptions, prices, shipping, legal guarantee, returns and tax obligations, including sales documents.
Zablas keeps a 10% commission on the product price of each paid order, after the seller's discounts; shipping is excluded. The rest is paid to the seller at the end of the protection period, if there are no open reports or returns. Refunds granted after a payout are deducted from the next payouts. Every month Zablas issues the seller an invoice for the commissions on the orders closed in the previous month. Advertising and spotlight places are paid from the amounts we hold for the seller, appear on the same invoice and are deducted from the next payout.
Selling illegal, counterfeit or dangerous products, or products needing licences the seller doesn't hold, is forbidden, and so is asking buyers to pay outside Zablas.
If we restrict, suspend or close a shop we give the reasons. For a permanent closure we give at least 30 days' notice, except for serious breaches or legal obligations (Regulation (EU) 2019/1150). Sellers can complain by writing to [to be completed].
Changes to these terms are notified to sellers at least 15 days in advance.
11. How we rank results
In search and categories we show the products matching the words searched and the filters chosen, newest first. You can sort them by price or by customer rating. No seller can pay to move up among these results.
Paid spaces are kept apart from the results and always marked, with the name of the shop paying for them: above search and category results there may be products labelled “Sponsored”, which the seller pays for per click and which appear only when they match the search or the category; on the home page and on department pages there may be shops labelled “Spotlight”, which pay a weekly fee for a limited number of places and are shown in an order that changes every day. We don't use your profile data to choose these spaces.
The shopping assistant is a service based on artificial intelligence: it searches the same catalog and suggests the products that best fit the request, then takes into account customer ratings and how many there are, price, availability and free shipping. Here too, no seller pays to be suggested. Answers are generated automatically and may contain mistakes: check the product page before you buy.
Photo search recognises what kind of item the photo shows and lists products of that kind, the most similar first. It uses an artificial intelligence model running on our own servers; here too, no seller pays to appear.
12. Liability
Zablas is not the seller of the products and is liable for the obligations it takes on as the platform operator, including the buyer protection described above. Consumers' statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
13. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the laws of your country of residence, and disputes go to the courts where you live.
To make a complaint write to [to be completed] or to the certified email [to be completed]. You can also turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body for consumers.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is always on this page with the date of the last update; orders already placed stay governed by the version accepted at the time of purchase.
15. Auctions and used items
Some products are sold by auction. Every bid is a commitment to buy: you enter the most you're willing to pay and the system bids for you only as much as needed to beat the other bids, up to that maximum. With equal maximum bids, the earlier one wins. A bid in the last 2 minutes extends the auction by 2 minutes.
The seller may set a reserve price, below which they don't have to sell, and a Buy It Now price, available until the first bid or until the reserve is met. Sellers may not bid on their own items, directly or through others: shill bidding leads to the account being closed.
When the auction ends, the contract is concluded with the highest bidder at the price reached. The winner must pay within 48 hours; otherwise they get a strike and the item may be offered to the next highest bidder at their maximum bid. With 3 strikes in 12 months you can no longer bid.
Auctions on Zablas are not public auctions: if you are a consumer you have the 14-day right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee as with any other purchase, and the payment is covered by buyer protection. On the Auctions page, auctions are sorted by end time, soonest first.
Used and refurbished products are sold by businesses, stating their condition and any faults. For used goods the seller may shorten the legal guarantee, but not below one year, and must say so clearly.
